Music and Equipment

With credentials ranging from the area's finest hotels and banquet houses to your neighbor's backyard I can suit practically any mood or preference. Since 1991 I have performed Master of Ceremonies duties at hundreds of events throughout New York State ranging from the casual (say, clambake or barbecue) to the very formal (weddings are my specialty).

Over 20 years of wedding reception experience make the difference between "just good music" and a high energy PAR-TAAAY. The interactive aspect of a DJ who can read and respond to a crowd vibe is one thing you won't get from an iPod. Being the only DJ at my company I always provide a personal consultation before any formal event to ensure the utmost attention to detail. A list of references from recent functions I've perfomed at is available upon request.

Unlike some DJ services that try to become the center of attention, I am there to enhance your event--not turn it into a "DJ show"...unless, of course, that's what you are looking for. No inflatable instruments, no silly hats. Sorry, I don't do that. I also promise to never, ever force you onto the dance floor and make you do the "chicken dance" or some dumb line dance...ever. (Well, maybe if somebody tips me an exorbitant amount and really wants to hear it.)

I come equipped with a Shure wireless microphone so if you or a guest have that urge to belt out an oldie you can sing along. Fortunately I also have a volume control for that microphone. It can also, of course, be used for toasts, blessings, speeches, etc.

Using a Bose/Denon/Crown pro sound system and an enormous song library of lossless music that spans several decades I offer an incredible array of music options to suit practically every taste. Modern MIDI technology also allows me to manipulate the music in a multitude of ways so I can do live remixing and "mashups" for a true club atomosphere, if that's what you're looking for.
